Secondary Wood Products

The unique properties of EXO coating make it an ideal option for upgrading the performance of cutting tools used in processing of wood and wood products (MDF, engineered flooring, particle-board etc.).  These tools, such as circular and band saws, can greatly benefit from the superior wear resistance of EXO that protects the body of the tool.

The EXO coating  allows the possibility of reducing the tip-to-body clearance of the cutting edge – which in turn translates into lower kerf thickness. This also preserves the saw plate thickness to avoid any compromise on blade stiffness.
