Primary Mills

For primary mills that convert logs to lumber, our innovative Opti-Max System replaces conventional Babbitt-based guide pads and uncoated saw blades with an EXO-coated, adjustable steel guide pad and reduced-kerf thickness EXO-coated saw blades. Coupled with a precision and flexible lubrication delivery mechanism and ongoing technical support, this system optimizes operational variables to maximize Recovery, Productivity, and Quality.

Secondary Woodworking Operations

For secondary woodworking operations, UCT’s low-friction EXO coating makes precise, stable cutting possible with remarkably thin blades.  The result is a kerf so thin that you’ll waste much less raw material as sawdust – and you’ll produce more finished product from your raw materials.
